Who We Are
I am a self starter, problem solver, and tech enthusiast. At Ashoka, I lead an initiative of moving the 10+ y/o financial systems to the cloud, and help form the Center of Excellence to simplify and optimize daily operations, while promoting a culture of innovation in Finance teams. Prior to Ashoka, I worked with Pulse Advocacy LLC’s President, a DC-based entrepreneurial lawyer, to scale up and digitize business operations to adapt to a 3x client base. At 18, I wrote press releases and event speeches for the CEO of IDG Asia Pacific/Vietnam.
I am keen on developing and implementing community-driven solutions, especially those applying behavior change. In the 2011 Arab Spring, I formed a group of friends to distribute Coke and vinegar-soaked tissues to protesters to counteract eye pains resulting from tear gas exposure; local convenience store owners immediately followed to make it a city-wide quick fix. Earlier, I co-founded Vietnam Youth Forum, Vietnam’s first “playground” that provided unconventional space for the youngsters to discuss priority issues facing local and global communities, and empowered them to implement projects to tackle those challenges.
